2020 Made in Iowa Product Gifting Guide

Nothing brings people together more than supporting a hometown business or something locally made. As times have shifted these past few months, I have seen so much more community and support than ever before. It’s not like it wasn't ever there, it just has a different feeling attached to it now. I asked over on my Facebook and Instagram for suggestions on what to feature here on this post as a gift guide. Your responses were overwhelming with the amount of businesses available that are made right here in the great state of Iowa. Thank you!

Instead of a gift guide featuring a “few” amazing pieces, I am going to feature a few, then list the ones that were suggested by all of you in between. Yes, it may be a bit much or overwhelming to look through, but that is the only way I know how to somewhat help. My heart goes out to all of you hustlers, entrepreneurs, and working moms & dads. We are all in this together.

With all of that being said, we still have a lot of celebrations that are not going to get cancelled just because we are supposed to stay home. Graduations, weddings, baby showers, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are still happening and nothing says we love you or we are thinking of you like gifting something close to our hearts. A little hometown pride or a keepsake for a time of remembrance may just be what someone needs.

Make sure to check out the TRAVEL IOWA website HERE for more information, products, and even plan your family vacation! Such a good resource for hidden gems within our state, so make sure you bookmark it.

Highlighting some of my favorites right now I will start off with Cheers Ink. Literally adding to the cart as we speak! Personalized drink coasters, ornaments, and so much more. Find your favorite teams, great Dad gifts, custom table numbers for your wedding, or maybe mom needs a personalized beverage glass for Mother’s Day! You know we will ALL be taking full advantage of that day this year 😂

Doe A Deer Heirloom towels are a perfect sentiment that you will want to display and use! I love this idea to gift to Grandma’s, Mother’s, and Daughter’s as you pass down a recipe or “how to” from generations ago. Towels start under $10.
